Chuck Wilson, Practice Manager, Identity Verification Chuck Wilson leads the Identity Verification Practice at ii2P. He is responsible for the MyLOK™ password management product and other identity verification initiatives using smart cards, PKI and biometrics. Chuck has been in the information technology industry for over 28 years. Chuck has been involved in a variety of identity verification initiatives throughout North America. Chuck’s career has focused on harnessing enabling technologies to develop and support innovative end-user solutions for a variety of industry sectors including enterprises, healthcare and government.
Prior to ii2P, Chuck held executive management positions at Hitachi America Ltd., CardSystems Solutions, Inc. and Electronic Data Systems (EDS) Corporation. In June 2001 Mullaney Publishing Group published Get Smart, Chuck’s book on the emergence of smart cards in the United States. CRC Press recently published Chuck’s third book, titled Vein Pattern Recognition, A Privacy-Enhancing Approach. Additionally, Chuck also holds two smart card patents. Chuck served for three years on the Board of Directors of the Smart Card Alliance, and in 2009 began serving as a member of IEEE Certified Biometrics Professional (CBP) Examination Committee. Chuck received his BA and MA degrees from the Ohio State University, and his MBA from Memphis State University. |
