Fernando Garcia, Practice Manager - Optimization and Self Service

Mr. Garcia has over 11 years experience in IT and project management from a corporate environment and healthcare.  Prior to joining ii2P, Mr. Garcia held the position of Program Administrator/ Manager at Cook Children’s Medical Center and Computer Sciences Corporation.  His experience blankets across all areas of the Program and Project Management lifecycle.  His roles in the IT industry stem from the Global IT outsourcing business ventures, to healthcare. 

While at CSC, he was responsible for the transition and support of various Service Desk projects in North America, South America, Europe and Asia.  He was also the project manager for the acquisition of various healthcare companies that were transitioned into CSC while following the PMBOK processes utlized across the globe.

He held the position of Program Administrator/Manager while at Cook Children’s Medical Center.  He was responsible for ensuring that strategic projects were met, and assisted in project initiations, scope sessions, and healthcare targeted projects.

He is PMP Certified, a Six Sigma Green Belt, and is ITIL v.3 Foundations Certified.
