| Inadequate adoption rate for our password system |
|
Many companies invest heavily in technology to support their password management system only to have the technology lie dormant because users don’t fully embrace it. To determine the success in implementing a new technology organizations logically want to quantify the results, and that often means the measurement of an adoption rate. Indeed, an adoption rate is not only a strong measurement for project success, but it often doubles as a reliable indicator of resistance to change. ii2P is well aware of the challenges of user adoption, and that is why it fully integrates processes in the deployment and ongoing support phases to support end user adoption. ii2P measures end user usage as well as customer satisfaction; and we establish target objectives against which to evaluate the usage statistics. The primary prerequisite to high adoption is ease of use. ii2P ensures that end users can obtain information from the knowledge base quickly and without hassle, and can reset passwords or PINS immediately. Moreover, ii2P reinforces adoption through a variety of support mechanisms such as end user forums, surveys and user training. Additionally, an easy-to-use self service portal with an accurate, fresh and relevant content management system backed by reengineered processes and vigorously implemented managerial disciplines increases end user satisfaction and reinforces technology adoption. While ii2P provides the “pull” mechanism to motivate adoption, enterprises are encouraged to provide “push” incentives such as marketing campaigns to highlight self service benefits, or financial motivations and sanctions to the organizations within the enterprise. Moreover, ii2P provides extensive reporting tools which analyze self help performance, enabling ii2p to provide each customer with a “roadmap” for continuous improvement. |
